This was a vintage travel image from the grandparent's trips. Train station unknown and 1960's. However, the treatment reminds me of commuting: which i did for a year or two while attending a class in Chicago over an hour and a half by train and then a ten block walk to classroom. I did this way back in my teenage years. I loved it. I talked to people everyday and listened to my music. Stared out the window the whole train ride till the place got crowded about three quarters through. The way home was standing room sometimes. Most of the time I got a seat. carrying a 3x3 foot portfolio leather bound was the real problem once you got off. The place was very windy. I couldn't do it these days. I would fall asleep. It was enough to want to upgrade your wardrobe though. You got on the train at your rural stop and by the time you got downtown everyone was in suits and heels. I started wearing skirts all the time about then. It is still fun, just only for museum or restaurant trips for me now. Here the text "move" is meant to show the potential energy of the train done in separately treated layers with small cut out shapes. The word is skewed a few layered times to show or imply the word "love" I love to move" can not create too much art standing still all the time.
